Version 11.9 – Release Notes
UI Improvements and Fixes: Due to a recent website update, some features have been fixed:
- Online Citation has been fixed and now appears in the More Options dropdown menu in the action bar. In addition, the original reference and online citation can now be copied by clicking either one. This update also fixes an issue where the wrong document ID was displayed in some online citations.
- Paragraph Link has been fixed and can once again open a paragraph in the app or online library.
- Open in the App has been fixed and can once again open a publication or article in the app or online library.
- Continue Watching now includes the time marker in the resume dialog box so users know which part of the video they will resume from. In addition, when a timestamp is defined in the URL, the resume dialog box will no longer appear, allowing users to play the video from the selected timestamp instead.
- Control Panel now separates features that are not available for a specific website or device and shows a yellow N/A box to let users know they are not available, instead of showing a blank or unclickable OFF toggle. Features that are not available will no longer hide their feature information. In addition, some issues with the Control Panel have been fixed.

Version 11.5 – Release Notes
- Sticky Action Bar: The action bar now automatically hides and reappears when you scroll, making it easier to access the breadcrumbs and media buttons.
- Video Transcript: Transcript downloads have been redesigned with larger text, improved spacing, and a new footer. The page size has also been adjusted to better match the paper size used by most publications.
- UI Enhancements: The Second Display UI has been simplified to show only an icon on the screen. The Custom Media Player UI now uses a new layout based on the latest redesign from the official website. The Image Download copyright stamp now uses the website’s font instead of a generic font.
- Bug Fixes: Issues in several areas have been fixed, including problems with the Second Display and the Transcript Viewer.
- Deprecated Features: Video Ambient Light is no longer available and has been removed from the add-on.

Version 11.1 – Release Notes

• New Icons: All icons used by the add-on have been updated to follow the latest design language of the official website.
• Continue Watching: Performance has been improved with much faster initialization than before. Video time progress is now language-localized instead of using a generic forward slash.
• RSS Subscription: The button is now language-localized instead of using a generic “RSS” label.
• Bug Fixes: Issues in several areas have been fixed, including the Library app button on Media Library pages and Tracts not opening in WOL.
• Deprecated Features: Media Player Control Keys and Custom Media Player UI will no longer work on the official website.

Version 8
Introduces a wide range of new features and improvements, including new advanced features such as media player control keys which allows you to control the player using a keyboard, and advanced search which expands the functionality of the search bar. Other new features includes the new online citation to show citation of all articles, read in the app allows you to open the article or publication straight to the app, play media in the app also allows you to watch or listen the media straight to the app, and a new audio button in the video library to easily access the audio library in 1 click. Existing features such as expand width is now available on jw.org, video transcript now allows you to download the transcript in PDF in select languages, or copy the entire transcript. Several bug fixes has been done throughout the addon including the issue on Bible chapters missing in the dialog box and random html code not removed from the transcript. Improvements has been made to the daily text button, language counter, and labels to make them more network efficient.
