На самом деле все эти настройки есть в разделе "перевод по выделению", можно как вообще отключить кнопку для перевода по выделению, так и назначить горячие клавиши, которые должны быть обязательно нажаты во время выделения для её всплытия или назначить горячие клавиши, при нажатии которых перевод будет производиться автоматически после выделения, без показа кнопки перевода.

Ну и в между этими расширениями из общего только то, что они оба могут переводить страницы и текст по выделению. Linguist умеет переводить произвольный текст, сохранять переводы в словарь и использовать любой модуль перевода, не только гугл или яндекс

    I used to use Linguist and added third-party translators to it. Then TWP. Now I've reinstalled it, and I miss the keyboard shortcut for translating the entire page, as well as the pop-up window for translating selected text.

    So useful!! I love that it allows you to hear the text-to-speech of each language. In my case, I translate words from "Khmer to English"ខ្ញុំចង់ឃើញពិភពលោកធំជាងពីមុន។ I'm mostly learning to read from online novels, so that I can write and communicate with my grandma.

    The shortcut's also really convenient quality of life feature I didn't think I needed until I had it available. Thanks for improving accessibility, it's very helpful :')

    This extension also returns more correct translations for ភាសាខ្មែរ than another add-on I'd used before

    Es ist okay. Manchmal ist es nicht da, wenn ich es mittels rechtem Mausklick benötige. Da muß ich zurück in die Add-ons und einmal deaktivieren und gleich wieder aktivieren. Dann ist es wieder da.
    Allerdings übersetzt es manchmal einen derartigen Blödsinn, dass ich die Originalsprache brauche um zu verstehen was überhaupt gemeint ist. Auch fehlen manchmal komplette Sätze.
