I use it a lot, but honestly, i can't hear a difference between a 2.0 gain and a 5.0, it's like, just moving the gain up you get a significant audio boost, but moving it up more it's still sounds the same.

Audio Equalizer is the name of the addon you're looking for. It's like this one but it actually works outside of youtube. The interface is worse but at least it works at all.

Works exactly like expected. Bonus feature: Gain can be adjusted greater than 1. Means you can literally amplify the sound

It would be way more useful if the sound volume slider was attached to the tab that is making the noise. Right now it's just one more icon in the extension bar.

all my videos need a -0.75 pan. but EVERY video I open, i have to set that manually?

this is more anoying than the audio problem haha...

It works but if I have to pause the video for any length of time the volume goes back to normal and I can't open the add on again unless I close and reopen the browser.

It does nothing

Has worked a charm whenever I have needed to fix panning issues when a video inexplicably has audio too much on one side.

Not only does it do nothing, but even touching a slider will cause complete audio loss. The only way to restore audio is to disable the extension and refresh the page.
