The title is "Translate Web Pages" implying that it would automatically translate web pages. That doesn't happen at all. This is useless. It's the same as using Google Translate in Firefox which also doesn't work properly. Do you think we really want to continually click to translate? How many hundreds or thousands of time is enough for you brain damaged developers? If it's in another language we want it translated. Do you think we learn a language overnight and tomorrow we may not need it translated? When you say "Always translate from ....." IT DOESN'T WORK.

Of course my Firefox install is updated automatically. Just checked it.
So please make this thing work properly or change your title to "Translate by clicking out button 5000 times a day".

The "Always translate from ..." option works. If it's not working for you, create an issue on Github.

    The “To DeepL” add-on exhibits similar behavior; opening a new tab to send a translation request to DeepL may or may not receive a response. The official website itself may be unstable.
    The pop-up translation feature functions normally.

    Все основные функции работают, но пора обновить т.к в некоторых моментах может не перевести часть страницы, а может не перевести вовсе, особенно если происходит возвращение на предыдущую страницу - расширение просто теряет момент перевода.
    Думаю, что связано с совместимостью, с новыми версиями Firefox.

    Automatic detection of languages fails frequently (sayvit's Japanese instead of the actual language Chinese), and there is no option to change the language to translate from, preventing the page from being translated

    Very useful tool as it can translate dynamically created web pages like YouTube which is great, now I can read all YouTube comments more easer no matter what language, also asian language.

    I experienced one issue: when browsing through camera lens models on dpreview.com it changes the formatting on the left side of the list of canon lenses.
    It shows 4 lenses per row and the rightmost lense vanishes partially behind text on the right side of the webpage.

    Then I have some wishes:

    1. I would like to work with the deepl.com translator API where you can get a free API key and where the translation quality is better compared to Google.

    2. Whats also missing, to be able to configure the translator in the settings. Currently you can only switch to another translator when viewing a webpage but later on it changes again to the default which is Google.

    3. If you hover over the translated paragraph, then a pop-up window shows the original text, which is very useful, but it hides the translated text partially. It would be good, if the placement of the pop-up window could be parametrized better, so that there is a chance not to hide the original text.

    Please fix the display issue and add deepl.com API as translator, make the default translator configurable and make the pop-up window placement showing the original text configurable. Then I am happy to give the full 5-stars.
