    Ad blockers first block a site's requests to download ads, then hide the ones that can't be blocked. To do that, the extension needs to see every page you open so that AdBlock can work on every page you visit. The pause is temporary, so if you leave YouTube and return later, it will remain unpaused until the warning is detected again.     It is difficult for any ad blocker to block ads on Twitch. Since Twitch ads are inserted directly into the video stream, ad blockers must “race” to block ads on Twitch streams before the site can download them. This means that while AdBlock does block Twitch ads, we may not be able to catch every single ad before you see it.     So so so frustrating that AdBlock comes with spam these days. Every day, Adblock opens a New Tab requesting that I pay to upgrade to "premium Adblock"...whatever that nonsense is. This behavior only began roughly 1-2 years ago, when Adblock started going downhill. The straw that broke the camel's back tho was that Adblock recently decided to hide the "Block something on this page" button—the only feature that I ever really valued. So, reader, do yourself a favor: skip Adblock & just stick with **uBlock Origin**... it's free, zero spam, & vastly better performance.
