Thanks, developers for blocking Youtube annoying ads after the new update. Where can I donate?

man yt detects the adblocker and when i block ads on yt page i still cannot play the videos

Youtube began to detect running Adblock Plus and does not allow you to play videos.

Disturbing animation appeared in Adblock Plus dialog window, what makes this addon totaly unusable.

ABP has been an amazing and very useful adblocking addon for many years, saving time, bandwidth, and even preventing some malware that can leak through sketchy, uncurated ads.

This goes great with NoScript (when you know what you're doing, and know to allow scripts on sites you trust)

It's a shame Youtube is now enforcing it's extra draconian BS on adblockers, hopefully we can find a way to bypass it's adblocking check, or they get an overwhelming amount of negative backlash, causing them to reel back on adblocker hostility.

EDIT: Apparently uninstalling and reinstalling ABP works for YT ads, for now at least. I guess part of how it detects adblockers is scanning for some crusty old adblock cache files or someother.

EDIT 2: And now YT detects it no matter what. Get bit by a cobra, Susan.

Bis jetzt war ich immer sehr zufrieden mit der Leistung von ABP. Gerne weiterhin dabei.
