I use this to avoid AI generated youtube videos, which have obvious annoying flaws and often have dishonest content. AI Content Shield appears to be doing its job.

Great idea, questionable execution... NOT Open-Source plus immediately & obnoxiously greeted by "PRO"-Vers....

I downloaded this to remove AI functions on my browsers and all of the other apps, like YouTube, that are currently attaching AI search buttons on the search bars. It works well for that purpose, but I don't appreciate a lot of the other features being blocked behind a paywall. It serves its function for the most part for me. I am just so tired of all these companies trying to shoehorn AI into everything.

Open source is free and way better

Inconsistent in the content it blocks. Had a video flagged for mentioning the term "AI" in the captions, and another for discussing AI accusations. However, several other videos containing actual usage of AI slipped past. Seems to be ok on google and perhaps pinterest but i'm going to toggle off for youtube to see if its actually doing anything worthwhile.

It was fine until it started randomly blocking non-AI channels on Youtube. And since it has no options, I can't even flag known-good channels that I've been watching for years as being OK.

Kind of ironic that I used this to block over-reaching AI, only for the AI-blocker to itself become over-reaching.

I can tell it's working when I search on Google and get like five legit results and a blank page. Had a brief run where it was giving false positives on Youtube, but that seems to have cleared up. ETA: The reviews saying it doesn't work on free mode are mistaken.

This extension has greatly reduced the amount of AI content flooding my feed on YouTube and Pintrest. There were holes in my FYPs for a while, but the algorithms eventually stopped trying to show me slop, so they went away.
