Have hard time in reading web pages written in Chinese? Try this Chrome extension. It's absolutely free and contains no Ads.

After installation, remember to choose "On All Sites" on the option "Allow this extension to read and change all your data on websites you visit". Please be assured that this extension does NOT read or change any data on the websites you visits. All it needs is the Chinese or English text you selected in that page you are viewing.

Simply select any text (word, phrase, sentence, etc.) you want to understand, click on the spinning icon that shows up, the extension will find pinyin for each character in your selection (click on each pinyin or English pronunciation), translate the text to English (or to Chinese), identify named entities if any, and do syntax analysis.

New functions like pronunciation and idioms will come soon.
