I agree with user Chris, below, one star only because of the flash of white.

Also, to "Firefox user 4981570" who suggests updating/creating userchrome.css, your suggestion doesn't remove the white flash.

And, finally, to "Developer response" below, your suggestion doesn't work on Firefox for Android. Did you forget that this browser runs on multiple platforms, not just the one you work on?

Created a firefox account just to leave this review. I initially installed black new tab and the first time I opened a new tab I got an ad in the lower right corner and assumed it had to do with the app, so I left scathing feedback when I uninstalled it. I have since seen this ad again and now realize it was just an unfortunate coincidence and that the ad was just something firefox did that I needed to disable. Apologies for my harsh words if they reached you. Anyway, I love this app! The perfect companion to Night Eye.

This extension is just straight up epic.

Very good! Works great for new TABS, but new WINDOWS are still glaringly white. Fix that for the full 5 stars! :-)
