I was totally unaware that this extension clears ALL the browser data, not just for the current tab! 😬 The one-tab setting didn't work.

This was a bug in 4.4: “Current tab only” could clear beyond the active site. I’ve fixed it and submitted the update to Mozilla, it’s just waiting for approval. Once it’s out, it’ll behave correctly.
Please update when it’s available. If it still happens, tell me the version.

    I don't know what the "current tab filter" is supposed to do, but I just selected it and tried to clear my cookies for the current site only and you destroyed all of the cookies on my entire machine. Thanks a lot!

    This extension mistakenly deletes your data for ALL websites even if you set "only current tab" in its settings!

    What's with those asanine defaults!? Who in their right mind wants the addon to wipe ALL their cache!? It should've been set to 15mins of current tab only, the minimum, by default. Now I'll have to re-login into all of my sites because of those unexpected s**ty defaults. Terrible UX

    I get why you’re upset. Just to clarify: the default doesn’t wipe cookies, it only clears cache. Losing logins would happen only if “Cookies” was enabled in options. The current default is cache only + current tab, but the time period is “all time.” You can switch it to 15 minutes in Options.
    I also have long‑time users who prefer a full clean by default, which is why I kept “all time” as the default. Still, I’m open to adjusting it if most people want 15 minutes.

    • Clear data ONLY for the active tab / But even is you select "Current Tab Only" - clears data for ALL sites. Lots over 20x sites of login info - cause of this! -_-

    I do not like this extension because you can’t clean all the cache and cookies for only active one page (domain), just clean everything at once!

    Settings cpace or how do I get it to do it's actions? Sucks if your using on android.. it doesn't do anything. Settings page ? Null just words no actions!

    Does exactly what it says it does! Almost too well, though -- it would be *AWESOME* if there was an option (enabled by default) that gives a little "Are you sure? All these things will be cleared:" prompt before actually clearing the cache, though. I've accidentally clicked on it when I had dozens of authenticated sessions open and it's a bit of an annoyance to have to go back through them all and log back in. Overall, though, it's exactly what I need for troubleshooting and development work, so highly recommended!
