I understand that the modifier combo needs to be alt and shift with the new web extensions, that's fine, but 'Y' on American keyboards this is really awkward to reach. If ALT-SHIFT-V could be the shortcut, it would be much better.

je so för 8 år sedan napisałI understand that this is going to be a difficult adjustment, especially for long-time users. ALT+SHIFT+V is already in use (it invokes the View menu from the top menu bar). I also considered CTRL+SHIFT+V, but that is in use by Firefox as well (paste as plain text).

I had Clippings assigned to the addon hotkey ALT-C for years in "Manage Extension Shortcuts", and it always worked. In the past few weeks this stopped working. Assigning letters other than C (I didn't test all letters, but 5 other letters) works as expected, it just doesn't work with ALT-C at all anymore. Not sure why.

In Clippings Manager, click Tools on the toolbar and then select Minimize When Inactive to toggle the setting on or off. This setting exists in Linux only and is a workaround for the window always being on top of other Firefox windows. You can opt to turn the setting back on when you need to switch between windows so that it doesn't get in the way.

- does not search inside content, only title
- go to a category, insert clipping. It is not added into that category but to the bottom of the list requiring drag&drop
- it does not remember last window size, requiring resizing of the window
