fb doesn't rely on m_news_feed_stream anymore so this doesn't work anymore

This no longer works and was last updated in 2022

As of May 2024, this extension still works on Facebook's 'Mbasic' subdomain. However, since late 2023, 'Disable Facebook News Feed' doesn't seem to work on the standard 'WWW' Facebook website.

This add-on feels like it gave me my life back. It single handedly broke years of Facebook addiction instantly and I've had a much happier time since. It was a fantastic add on and for this would have been an easy 5/5 Sadly, this add-on no longer seems to work and for that I will have to dock it a star (in the hope it will be updated)

It's had blips in the past and been updated but so far this time it's not been fixed. I still have this add-on installed in the hope it will be updated. Facebook addiction is already creeping back in without it. I really hope you can give us a new update Ankit, but regardless thank you for creating this add-on for the time it did work, it really improved my quality of life!

Looks like it's broken... used to be my only hope against scrolling addiction. Today I noticed I hadn't looked at Facebook for literally years and 30min later remembered why 😅

It works wunders on my browser, but it doesn't work when i use it on my android phone, through firefow nightly :(

I got it because of all the positive reviews but it doesnt work at all for me. the feed is unchanged.

It was working well in the past 5 months for me, but now it doesn't block anything, so I had to remove this add-on.

Can't get it to work on Firefox Android.

It works! Plain and simple.

This extension is great, but recently the feed came back, i think it needs an update

Removes all of your friends' content too so not much point.

11/12/22 All was working well. Nothing was in my Facebook newsfeed. I do not follow anyone on Facebook. In the last 2 or 3 days some of my own posts are showing up in my newsfeed. I removed the extension and reinstalled it, refreshed the page, and still have some of my own posts in newsfeed. Can this be corrected? Thank you.

Really great add-on, have used it for years and it allows me to still use facebook for messaging and nothing else.

One thing: after a recent change, it also blocks facebook marketplace, so I'm hoping this can be fixed soon.
