I need to encode 1080p files from Youtube from time to time for our family to have movies to enjoy when they are offline. This does everything correctly and is an excellent solution. Try it next time you're on a train, or up in the mountains skiing. Right now we use it for videos on our tablet when we're offline in the jungle in The Philippines.

I don't know how you plan to attract Pro purchases when your basic version does nothing at all! I am uninstalling this waste of space!

Special note to Ubuntu users, 22.04 and 24.04: Ubuntu has left out a necessary library file called FUSE. The fix is here: search "Can't Run AppImage on Ubuntu?" and select the article from It's FOSS.
