because I have limited data, I cannot stream youtube. Easy Youtube downloader express has made it possible to be able to watch youtube at all.

I've been using the Easy Youtube Video Downloader plugin for over a year now and love how easy it is to work with... that is, when either FireFox or Youtube hasn't just messed things up with some new update. That being said, I commend the developer for how hard he works to keep it going and updated for us all. Great Job Dishita!

I would recommend this tool for anyone who wants to save Youtube videos for their own offline viewing like I do.

It works, after install no FF reboot is required, and download the video just at the page refreshing, Great Work!!

Those in the IT programming world will understand when I say that when it comes to operating systems and Internet browsers many of us have our preferences. These preferences can not always be defined that well, it's very much like our preferences for specific makes of cars. The engine cc and kw ratings may be exactly the same as the next person's but we prefer the one we own.
I liked the look and feel of Firefox the first time I used it years ago. I often found it working very well when other browsers were giving funnies.
Before my retirement as ICT manager we regularly used it to test changes to our website and actually recommended, on the website, Firefox would give the best results to users.
The Video Download Helper has been a great add-on. It works well and I often use it for downloads.
The developers of Firefox should get all the support we, as users, can give and more.

Yes - this is still the best YouTube video down-loader available - anywhere!

It's fast and easy - What more can you ask for? Plus, whenever YouTube adds more code to their product to prevent downloads, this excellent plugin author immediately finds a work-around and updates his plugin so we can continue seamlessly downloading all the videos whenever we choose.

Personally, I download them because too many times I find that YouTube is censoring many of my favorite video channels. So I make it a habit to archive any videos that I believe will be "disappeared" in the future.

One more point: Donating $10 or more with not only give you the ability to download faster HD and add-free videos -- but it supports all the updates and work Dishita [the plugin author], puts into this plugin -- and he has done it for many years. So please consider donating to him and all others who work to keep FireFox the best choice in browsers!

Great easy to use app

I had switched to Easy Youtube Video Downloader Express because my previous downloader had developed problems.
I was upset when the new add-on started acting up ( probably a Youtube change ). But fortunately, this add-on was different from the other one(s). For one thing, the author had a web site with actual contact ability ! With the previous one and another add-on I have had problems in that I could not find any way to contact the author ! This site was easy to contact ( other than a temporary shutdown to prevent being swamped with repeat messages about the same problem ) ! Once I contacted the author, he( she ?) got back to me at most a day and a half later. Then, it could not have been much more than 48 hours before the problem got fixed ! And some of that time was my fault for not setting the updating right. Maybe he had been working on it for a while before I noticed a problem, but still impressive. You can put all kind of bells and whistles in the
software, but that doesn't matter if it breaks, and months or more go by before it gets fixed! Customer service is the thing needed, and this site really did well ! Those other add-ons mentioned are still broke, months later, as far as I can tell ! Couple this with it's ease of use, and I'd happily recommend Easy Youtube Video Downloader Express !
It could use a shorter name though !

This is an excellent, easy to use add-on allowing you to download YouTube video in many different resolutions. Downloaded MP4 videos (720p+1080p) work perfectly in iTunes (on a Mac) with no need for any other conversions so it's great for music videos. The developer is active and responsive to issues and whenever YouTube changes things up, the developer is not far behind with an update to get it all working again.

Very fast downloads of HD videos. Super easy and good quality! Well worth paying for!

Firefox le dará continuidad?

I've been using this wonderful add-on for many years and feel it's the very best for downloading YouTube videos. It's easy to set up and convenient to use, but what really impresses is the hard work and dedication involved in keeping this working while YouTube makes constant changes. It's not an add-on that can be written once and posted for users to download and install - Easy Youtube Video Downloader has to be rewritten, over and over again.

I usually have 2 or 3 web alternatives bookmarked for when a problem occurs, but when they fail they almost never update their code. I always know the author of this add-on is working on the problem and a fix will be available very soon.

Thanks again for the tireless efforts on behalf of those of us who count on this valuable - and free, or virtually free - web tool!

This Add-on is awesome, I can download my prefer music videos, lyrics and tutorials in the format that I want to listen offline.
The support is faster and I'm glad to support the developer with the premium version.
