I started to use FBCleaner to get rid of suggested posts from Facebook. Suggested posts used to waste a lot of time for me. By using FBCleaner I get back closer to the 'original' Facebook where posts where actually generated by friends and aquaintances. As added extra ad were also removed, which was actually not a big deal for me. Without FBCleaner I would have had to stop using Facebook. Thanks for creating it.

It works. A little too well. It works SO well that when I view the page I made for my hobby all of the posts I post will be blocked from view. If you scroll it just blocks all of those too. Seems to completely avoid personal pages.

Dommage parce que sinon c'est nickel, il faudrait un truc pour désactiver sur tel URL, ou alors que ça detecte tout seul qu'on est sur le compte qui est l'auteur de la publication...

Unlike most of other FB ad blockers FBCleaner works in Firefox-105. Some slowing FB browsing, though.

It looked like a great thing. Unfortunately, Farcebork is allergic to it and reacts with very weird behavior. I have one Page (and they are trying to ruin that experience for me anyway!), and when this extension is active, posts jump all over the place. It didn't affect my personal timeline, only the Page.

Funktioniert momentan, es kann allerdings noch ca. 1 Sekunde lang die Werbung "aufblitzen", bevor sie verschwindet. Generell scheint so etwas schwierig zu machen sein, weil Facebook ständig etwas ändert. Auch "Social Fixer" (Greasemonkey-Script) ist einen Versuch wert, es funktioniert auch zusammen mit diesem.

Does not work for the super annoying "suggested for you" posts, which is why I added it. I've rebooted, reloaded/refreshed browser, and un-checked/re-checked the options. Useless.

I hope this keep updated, you saved so much time for fb users. If you want, you should try to make options for the "suggested friends" and "reels and shorts videos" that you can hide them optionaly. Cheers.

The developer is very quick with updates to keep up with Facebook constantly changing their coding. This addon is much appreciated.

Downloaded and installed it yesterday and it worked fine. Today, all the sponsored posts and suggested posts are back in my feed, every second or third post is one of these horrible things.

when I try to install it I'm getting "Installation aborted because the add-on appears to be corrupt."
manual installation doesn't work either cause "you don't have a permission to open this file"

I've been using it for a very long time, it was great, but since last update it's no longer working for me. I'm not sure how you make this, I guess you disable display for sponsored div, or something like that. Now I realized while inspecting FB's feed source, is that, they divide "Sponsored" letter by letter in separated divs, also "Learn more" etc. Maybe disabling everything containing those divs? I don't know, I'm glad to help! (There's no way to contact author, btw).

July 19, 2022, the ads are still showing up on the right side when I get to (groups) page. Also the reels and shorts show up on main feed, and suggested posts, and recommended groups all still showing up. I deleted cookies, and refreshed my browser, it's still broken.

I was about to give up on Facebook because all I was seeing was sponsored ads - I was missing important posts from my colleagues and friends. This add-on got rid of the ads as soon as I reopened my browser. Thank you!!!

As of 26-june-22 it works. I feel the pain the developer is having, because I attempted the same, but facebook nonstop release new layout of the webpage forcing us to nonstop update. Anyway it will be good to include removing these idiotic reels, "Groups you might be interested in." and simmilar "cognitive and visual noise".

Seems to be the only extension that is able to block those annoying sponsored ads...

After last Facebook update my previews extension stopped blocking AD. So I started searching for some new extensions and I tested about tens other extensions and only this one works really good - blocks all AD in Facebook.
