wot Wužiwar Firefox 11391270, 8 年前Too little configuration options for the popup.
I want to have the feeds grouped by source in the popup. In subfolders. And I want to display all feeds in the popup. Just like the regular live bookmarks by Mozilla.
Unfortunately, the author did not integrate such basic functionality. I'd really appreciate a more sophisticated and customizable popup. But as is, the original Firefox live bookmarks + LiveClick is still a hundred times more convenient than this addon.
Answer to author response: No, this can still be very good UI design. Have you tried out Firefox live bookmarks + LiveClick? You could click the bookmark popup and saw everything you needed in one single popup. You didn't have to open a new tab just for the feed overview. It was a dream. Unfortunately, Mozilla set everything on fire and LiveClick was one of the victims. Now we are looking for an alternative. But most other addons don't share the simplicity of LiveClick. They all have overloaded designs and you need to open a separate tab just to see an overview of live bookmarks. That's what I call a bad UI design.
Here is an image how you addon could be designed if you were interested in a very good UI: https://addons.cdn.mozilla.net/user-media/previews/full/54/54655.png

je so 8 年前 napisałLiveClick type view is now also available when you click the Feedbro icon and then choose "Open Explorer". It's a very simple view compared to the actual "Open Feed Reader" view but can be useful for quick peeks.

- have used this for years to follow a variety of types of feeds, and it's worked great. i especially like that i can manually sort my folders and feeds, (which most other readers i've tried don't allow).
however, within the last week or so, embeds in youtube feeds have stopped functioning and all return error 153. - Z 4 z 5 pohódnoćenywot Wužiwar Firefox 19532291, 15 天前Would STRONGLY benefit from automatic/scheduled/triggered exports of backups (OPML etc.) to user designated location(s).
It could then be set up to sync across devices and their various apps, guard against data loss, convenience.
It's baffling that this has not been implemented. - Z 4 z 5 pohódnoćenywot Jonathan B. Horen, 1 個月前

- Z 3 z 5 pohódnoćenywot Joey Wheel, 2 個月前Feedbro is compromised. It is communicating with a malicious IP: 50.87.175.165 According to AbuseIPDB this is for a word press brute force attack. It will slow up your internet browsing and it was making Google give me the "Are you a human" pop up when they get suspicious usage from a single device. I turned it off and the popups stopped. The only feeds I was tracking were a few people's tumblr pages. I had to ask around on forums at first because I legit thought I had a virus until I disabled the extension and no regular virus scanner was picking this up (by nature of how extensions work.)
Edit: I had ONE RSS feed I forgot about that wasn't a tumblr and must have been powered by wordpress (the feed author had a WP site.) Feedbro doesn't have anything in place to deal with broken feed requests. I had no way of knowing. - Z 5 z 5 pohódnoćenywot Wužiwar Firefox 19166050, 3 個月前
