The plugin augments links to Github repositories. It appends a little box which shows the number of days since the last commit to that repository. It's only active on github.com.

Have you ever been on an "Awesome XYZ" list on Github only to find out after you followed a repository link, that the last commit was ages ago? This extension adds a little indicator which shows the number of days when the last commit occurred. It's also open source (see derhackler/githubactivityindicator on Github).
