Unfortunately, as by 12.01.2026, doesn't work anymore. Google probably changed something to bypass this plugin

It works (yay!) but leaves a blank gap where the AI overview would be. If that gap is fixed this would be a five star add-on.

Works on PC browser but not on mobile version of firefox.

The AI overview manages to slip through 90% of the time

It removes the big AI Overview, but does not remove the AI summary in the website descriptions.

Unreliable. sometimes works, sometimes just puts AI overview lower in results and sometimes doesn't work at all. Not worth it.

it does not work at all. i still see ai overviews. i thought i didn't even have an anti ai overview extension before i discovered i did, but one that completely didn't even work.

just use ublock.

Installed on December 2, 2025, and working for me. I had tried "AI Overview Hider for Google", but that did not work. So far this is good. Thank you developer.

Not working inside containers.

This basically only works whenever it feels like it. Sometimes the AI is gone and sometimes it just doesn't work at all.

Worked great, although it has stopped working as well recently. For one, some overviews are appearing after the first result. Secondly, this has stared to disable dictionary entries as Google swaps over to AI-generated deifnitions.

This doesn't work on Android at all.
