wot R315r4z0r, 5 ani în urmăThis is a very clean chat mod. It helps with performance A LOT. However, it seems to randomly filter out chat messages. I prefer to keep all messages visible (Live Chat), but when I compare Youtube's normal Live Chat with HyperChat, you can see that HyperChat only shows every 3rd or 4th message.
I tried comparing HyperChat (on Live Chat) to Youtube (on Top Chat) and see that Youtube's Top Chat filters more out. So basically, HyperChat doesn't filter as much as Youtube's Top Chat, but it does filter more than Live Chat.
The only reason I managed to pick up on this is because HyperChat actually filtered out my own chat message, which is what made me think to compare it with Youtube's chat and figure out what was happening.
I can't use this if it's going to filter things that I didn't ask it to filter.

I was hoping that this add-on would come equipped with some way to write filters for chat, as I simply want to disable EN comments on JP streams (the two fanbases behave very differently). If they added this, I would be so pleased. Otherwise the only other thing I could ask for is more subtle branding on chat because it sticks out like a sore thumb. Finally tracked it down to the live chats of live streams. Installing this extension instantly solved my problems. Amazing that third party developers can consistently do what the biggest companies in tech consistently can't. Well done!
