Indian Passport Status Pro does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information, tracking data, or browsing history to any external servers.

The Extension works by intercepting the official "Track Application Status" API response from the Passport India website locally on your computer. This data is processed entirely within your browser's memory to render a detailed history table on the page.

2. Data Processing

• Local Processing: All data extraction and visualization happen locally in your browser.
• No Persistence: The data displayed by the Extension is not saved to any database or local storage. Once you close the tab or refresh the page, the processed data is cleared from memory.
• No Third-Party Sharing: Since no data is collected, no data is ever shared with third parties, advertisers, or any other entities.

3. Permissions Justification

• scripting: Used to inject the status history table into the webpage.
• host_permissions (passportindia.gov.in): Required to intercept the specific API response that contains your application's detailed lifecycle.
