I restarted Firefox and then disabled the extension - I'm going to keep it installed so I can turn it on when I need it, but I don't need every single redirect all day tracked. I don't have any empirical proof that this extension was the cause of my sluggishness, so your mileage may vary.

When opening the browser after turning on my computer, it added between 5-15 minutes to the time it took firefox to open and load. That's a pretty unacceptable amount of time to be staring at a blank browsing window waiting for it to load my tabs, so I'll be looking for an alternative extension.
