Does not work properly on firefox 112.0.2

Does not appear to work with Firefox Browser 88.0 (64-bit) Linux Mint 18.3 Cinnamon 64 bit.

Fairly useless until this is fixed as reported by other commenter(s):

It works as expected. Note that the add-on includes two functions: generating the link, and highlighting the text when open a link. The latter requires an optional add-on permission! That permission was made optional because it’s very sensitive (you don’t want a random add-on to access ALL websites).

Works, it just literally takes about 30 seconds for it to jump to the right section while using Firefox.

But if I past the link into Chrome, it jumps to it immediately.

Not sure who's fault this is, but either way, it's annoying.

Unfortunately does not work on my Firefox 93 on Windows 10.

This can be considered the "official" extension of this feature. Read the publications of the autor.
It's working at least in Firefox 92b9

No longer working on Firefox 90. Link works once, and then won't work again if the browser has been closed and reopened.

great extension! Simple interact and useful for sending highlight parts. Expecting Firefox-mobile-compatible update.

I have always longed for the link to text fragment feature of Chrome. Thanks to the developer for it making it possible on Firefox :)

if it has an optional feature why you enforce it? "This is to optionally add a polyfill for the Text Fragment feature" still you cannot choose cancel or the extension will nor work, so it is NOT optional

In Firefox 81.0.2 the transition to the selected text does not work, especially with backlighting, just opens a web site by link, maybe what I do wrong? Cent Browser also does not work...

P.S. Already working, but with short words do not always get a link. Thank you!

Not saved after restart: "browser will scroll the selected text". In Opera, the link created in Firefox "works" after restart.
