wot backwoodsman, 6年前Works great on short videos (a few minutes long). But on long videos, it records all the way through to the end, but when you click the Download button, it processes for a very long time, then just stops, and there's no way to make it do anything, or get the video. I tried 2 videos of about 1 hour length, one on Youtube and one on another website, with the same result.

I recommend that you open the video in preview, and save it from there (with right click -> save video as).
EDIT: this should be "fixed". It will give you an error message, but you will be able to download the file, although it will not have the duration metadata.

- Good News: it works like a charm!
Bad News: it only saves in webm, and if you try to change it to mp4 or mov without using a converter, it breaks the video and only saves the audio.
I know webm isn't a problem for everyone and it literally advertises it (my dumbass didn't read that part), but I personally prefer mp4 or mov files. I've already tried a different screen recording extension, which was ass AND had the same webm problem, and this one works much better. If I can't find a screen recorder without webm, I'll probably just keep using this one. - Z 5 z 5 pohódnoćenywot Wužiwar Firefox 18913945, 8ヶ月前

- Works brilliantly, the people saying it doesn't probably didn't read the instructions. You must have an audio source already active on the page for it to detect (ie, start the YT video and then start the extension).
Also, the default windows media player sometimes fails at reading the files, but it does that with all sorts of sources, so use a better player. - Z 5 z 5 pohódnoćenywot Obi-Wan Grégori, 2年前Wanted to get mp3 from lalal*ai for free and Live Recorder did the job.

This add-on is no longer supported. - Z 1 z 5 pohódnoćenywot Wužiwar Firefox 18174145, 2年前Zero stars. Installed this for Firefox 120.0 (64-bit) based on a positive review article. Wasted an hour of my time. It appears this add-on is no longer maintained.
