I am guessing the bad reviews are mostly from non-technical users who simply don't know what is going on. This is one of the most powerful extensions available and is absolutely essential. I admit I have only used it on chrome but after testing it on Firefox it seems to be just as powerful and useful.

If I'm talking about using it on my Linux machines, 5 stars. On my Mac, it doesn't work at all, and I cannot for the life of me figure out what is preventing it from working.

It's having issue downloading for every day more pages. Can you fix downloads for sexbjcam?

Looks like its the best one for my user case at least(Javs etc). Video DownloadHelper does okay too, but don't detect video streams as well as this one.

As others have said, the UI could be slicker, but it does what other extensions cannot for grabbing segmented (m3u8) video files

I would have given it five stars if it isn't for two issues that are really irritating.

Firstly, I don't know why the videos are saved as TS format that isn't playable in 50% of times, especially VLC Player. If it is playable, there is enormous delay when scrubbing. I have to use Miko Video Converter to convert TS to MKV.

Secondly, the interface is very clumsy and does need lot of improvements. Renaming files is possible only after you enter the name you wish then close the plug-in then relaunch it. When clicking on the setting icon, the submenu is visible until you move cursor out, then it disappears. Very extremely irritating!!!

Please focus on improving the interface and adding the options of different video formats such as mp4, mkv, etc.

Doesn't work. Tried downloading a stream and I get a pop-up telling me there's a BROKEN_PIPE -> 403 and to update the URL.

So far this is the best built in video downloader i've ever used. It beat IDM and jdownloader. Thanks to developer who create this amazing tool. I wonder if I'm have few bucks, I'll make a donation.

The interface is a bit clunky, but it does its job perfectly!

Works just fine, except for that it seems to be able to only detect up to 200 stream objects on 1 page.

OMG.OMG. OMG. I have been searching tirelessly and this is the only streaming extension that works on the sites I need to download. If only you can find a workaround YT which recently added protection and we can't download. Otherwise, for other sites, Chandler, you're AWESOME!!

Where all else (extensions) fails, this add-on comes through - whether of a live-stream or streaming (mu3) or regular mp4 video - without fail. Only quibble is that the interface or menu isn't as familiar as other downloading apps, and the interface could appear complicated with technical listings (video often referenced as a code of numbers and letters than understandable words). But if you can decipher (even guess) the lines, it's a reliable app to download videos even when standard downloading apps stumble and fail, especially with the streaming videos.

Add-on seems properly installed, but I can't find any button in any toolbar or any possibility to manage or use the application at all. Addon is allowed in all and private windows.
Where the hell would I find the button/counter for the streams? it doesn't show either with a new profile without other extensions/add-ons, BTW.

I would give it five stars except for the GUI, apart from that it works well for the most part. The issue with lots of sites only using HLS is that there are very few downloaders efficient enough to get them down. I like DownloadHelper but always need a good backup, for now this is it. A little work to clean up the GUI and I'll give it five stars.
