Installed addon. No prompt or directions for download of native client. Clicking Validator yields "is native client installed?" with no link to install it. Unable to get it working.

Useful add

Computers provide computing power, therefore computer tools should be easy to use. This addon has confusing directions, culminating in a complicated and invasive manual installation of a separate piece of software. There should be an easier way to make Firefox open PDF files in Foxit, and I will search for it.

It works and you can in fact set it to open your PDF with any program you like (not just Foxit). However there is an additional step for Linux users which the instructions do not make clear: you will need to open the add-on preferences and change the add-on path from "Foxit Reader" to FoxitReader. Also, the option to open in Foxit with left click does not reliably work; some PDF links do open with it, some open in Firefox.

Been using this program for 10 years. It's the number one pdf reader and suite there is. It's clean and safe. Ads are unobtrusive. LOVE it!!!
