Problem is that this extension expects me to put all the internet in the "ignored sites" and just leave google news out. The filter should be the other way around to have some sense; this is because one may want to filter a common word that is relevant on other sites.

je so 6 jierren lyn napisałi should have made this clearer in the ui, but in the background it is making all text on webpages lowercase to make them easier to match and hide.
