The sidebar page says that perplexity.ai doesn't want to let firfox open the page in the sidebar. As mentionned in another comment, this problem disappears when closing the sidebar and recharging it.
A possible fix would be for the dev to force recharging this page when installed? Or at least explain this "bug" in the install page of the addon?

If history and cookies are being reset/removed after closing the tab, this will cause the reset of authorisation in a sidebar as well. Super convenient addon.
