Thanks for your feedback. Regarding the issue, this may be due to security settings in your browser. If history and cookies are being reset/removed after closing the tab, this will cause the reset of authorisation in a sidebar as well. I had the same and just used exeption in my "cookie remover' add-on.

    Very usefull extension for someone who uses Perplexity on a daily bases.
    One issue: when closing the sidebar, Perplexity site resets.

    When installing and opening the tab for the first time, it fails. The sidebar page says that perplexity.ai doesn't want to let firfox open the page in the sidebar. As mentionned in another comment, this problem disappears when closing the sidebar and recharging it.
    A possible fix would be for the dev to force recharging this page when installed? Or at least explain this "bug" in the install page of the addon?

    It works fine on my side, Perplexity servers do not block this add-on as it seems to be just an open page from browser.

    I doesn't actually pass the content of current web site to perplexity chat so it is basically another way to access perplexity's website.

    Thanks for your feedback. Indeed, it doesn't pass content of the current page, thus it doesn't require permission to see user's pages, for security concerns. So, indeed it is just another way to access to main page, side by side, keeping it open while serfing other sites.

    Didn't want to load the page at first, but closed and reopened the sidebar and I was good to go. Super convenient addon.
