- Big fan of this extension conceptually, but I've found that it just… doesn't work sometimes? :( I have a problem where the Harper editor box will appear within the text box, so I both can't see what I'm typing and can't see the recommended edits. It also struggles with allowing me to accept suggestions sometimes. There have been a few times where I've clicked on a suggestion and it doesn't change anything so I have to manually edit it. I already love the lack of AI being forced onto me as well as the privacy aspect, though. If these issues could be resolved, this extension would be even more fantastic!

- Z 4 z 5 pohódnoćenywot Wužiwar Firefox 17462030, 1ヶ月前hi! i love this extension, but i noticed there's a minor issue with it, if it could be fixed sometime. word mix-ups. i'll show you what i mean
"If you want to continue live, scram!"
"If you want to continue living, scram!"
also
"The figure not held the head of the Baron."
"The figure now held the head of the Baron."
i love this extension since it's anti ai + ykyk, but i also would appreciate LOTS if these mix-ups could potentionally be addressed sometime? i understand if it might be too hard to code, but yeah.
EDIT: i also have found a potential bug. this is my example sentence.
With their combined skills, they snuck on a plane.
the autocorrect suggested i change snuck to sneaked, okay. i do that. THEN the autocorrect tells me to change sneaked to snuck? mannn....i can never win... - I really wanted to like it, but code starting with "harper-render-box" is being inserted directly into the text field in a forum I visit regularly. Even when I disable Harper on that particular site, a shorter string of code is still inserted. I have to edit the post to delete it. I do not know WHY it happens, only that it also seem to affect my installation of Darkreader, since some of its injected code is revealed as well. Only uninstalling the addon completely cleared the issue.
I posted the issue on GotHub as clearly as I could: githubDOTcom/Automattic/harper/issues/2913. I will try it again after several months have passed, to see if the issue is gone. - Z 3 z 5 pohódnoćenywot Wužiwar Firefox 18813087, 5ヶ月前

- Really incredible work. It finds corrections super fast and I'm surprised at how lite the extension seems.
The only issues I've had are that on some sites after selecting corrections I can no longer type in the textbox. Additionally the text corrections occasionally hover outside of the textarea.
But if these two get fixed it will be an easy 5/5.Wotmołwa wuwiwarja
je so 4ヶ月前 napisałBoth of the issues you've laid out are known and will be fixed in the next release of Harper. Thanks for reaching out! - Z 5 z 5 pohódnoćenywot Wužiwar Firefox 18463091, 6ヶ月前
- I really want this extension to succeed. Please consider making "No AI" or "AI-free" more prominent in your branding, people are looking for that in products now! The grammar checking has been accurate so far for USA English but my one gripe is that I'm trying to turn off "curse" checking and it won't save my setting in firefox.

- This is a pretty convenient add-on/extension. I find it helps me recognize major issues with my writing while putting less effort in having to fix them. Right now it is serving its purpose perfectly, but I wish there were more flexibility with its configuration. For instance, holding down shift a tad too long makes it begin editing whatever is in the text area, which breaks my flow for writing. I would love the ability to switch that to a different hotkey

je so 10ヶ月前 napisałI'll look into making the shift-key configurable. In the meantime, I've filed an issue to track the problem: https://github.com/Automattic/harper/issues/1750 - Simple, do the job faster.
Tha's the better alternative than other addons which are so complicated ... and not open source!
Request:
It should be great if it support too French!
