Private Site Scrubber does not collect, transmit, sell, rent, or share personal information with the developer or any third party.

All scanning, matching, reporting, and deletion actions are performed locally inside the user’s Firefox browser. The add-on uses Firefox extension APIs to review and remove browser traces such as history entries, bookmarks, cookies, download records, cache, and site storage based on the rules selected by the user.

The add-on stores the following information locally on the user’s device using Firefox extension storage:

user-defined website rules
user-defined keyword rules
protected website rules
theme preference
the most recent scan or cleanup result shown in the popup
This information is stored only to provide the add-on’s functionality and improve the user experience between popup sessions. It is not sent to the developer or to external servers.

Private Site Scrubber does not use:

analytics
telemetry
advertising
tracking technologies
remote code
external data-processing services
If a user clicks an external link, such as the support or donation link, they are taken to a third-party website and that website’s own privacy policy will apply to their visit.
