In my opinion, this is one of the few proxy switcher add-ons that actually and clearly manages the network settings of the Firefox browser. It works simply and reliably, I recommend this add-on.

Mode PAC Script Inline NO AVAILABLE. Chrome version, very good, Firefox versions very BAD.

Great extension that works with PAC files. And open source too! (got to homepage link, and there is a link to the github repo in the upper right corner)

Absolutely unable to select or edit the inline option of the PAC script tab.
I tried importing my working config from Chrome, but no dice, still won't let me select that option.
I could use a file:// URI to refer to a file I can edit, but that adds several steps of inconvenience, since you still have to refresh reload the file after first editing it externally.

What gives?

Ugly and has not all proxy options like proxy over dns. and socks options

has not been updated in a year, shows error when switching/editing proxy servers

it's a good extension but on startup it doesn't have correct state and when it is on proxy mode the icon is grey

Awesome Extension. I have been using it for more than a year now.

People who have the "cannot set this proxy" message should uninstall and reinstall and check "Allow this extension to run in private windows".

Doesn't work. Doesn't remember proxy which was last selected. Shows some kind of error: "can't set this proxy type", don't know why. On the "direct" tab it shows some error regarding "proxy.settings", but the error message is truncated so I don't know what's wrong.
