Save to Recollect wot Coywolf

"Save to Recollect" creates a bookmark note in Recollect's minimalist notes app with a single click. Right after you click it, a green checkmark appears on the toolbar icon to confirm your bookmark note was saved — and when you open Recollect, your new note is waiting at the top of your notes list. It also checks for duplicates and won't create a second note if you've already saved the page you're on (you'll see a blue checkmark instead).

No popup, no forms, no fuss — just click and it's saved. Prefer to add tags or tweak the note first? Turn on popup mode in the options, and each click opens the new note in a small window where you can edit it before closing. Either way, each note captures the page's title, its description, and a link back to the page, and appears in Recollect as a bookmark with a thumbnail.

How it works:
- Click the toolbar button on any page to save it to your Recollect notes.
- Green checkmark = saved. Blue checkmark = already saved (no duplicate created).
- Want to add tags or make edits as you save? Turn on "Open a popup to add tags or edit" in the options, and each click opens the note in a small window.
- Saved pages are tagged with your chosen bookmark tag(s), configurable in Recollect — no extension update needed.

Private and minimal by design:
- No host permissions and no background access to the pages you browse. The extension only reads the current tab's title and description, and only at the moment you click.
- Your data goes only to your own Recollect account — authenticated by an API key you control (generate, roll, or revoke it any time), or by your own Recollect sign-in when you use popup mode.
- No tracking, no analytics, no advertising, no third parties.

Setup:
Requires a Recollect account. In Recollect, go to Settings → Bookmarks, generate an API key, paste it into the extension's options, and you're ready to save. (Prefer popup mode? Just sign in to Recollect in your browser — no API key needed.)
