Hi .. I have same trouble .. still figuring that out. As far as I know searx is an agregator or proxy, so settings probably matter a lot. My addon is just gate to it, so please consider adjusting your rating .. I am just messenger ;)

edit : figured it out .. all that was needed was just enabling some search engines in said settings.

    Nice, working like a charm.
    I liked to see another privacy-based search engine addon show-up on mozilla as startpage started to blocking my requests through VPN.

    Perhaps I need to adjust the settings, because my first 2 searches resulted in a blank page.
