wot Wužiwar Firefox 18899637, för 10 månader sedanComplete waste of time and space all it seems to be doing is annoyingly pop-up saying "scripts cant be opened from this website" WTF its supposed to be a simple search by image engine but it doesn't even provide to search anything just gives its repeating sentence at best "Failed to open scripts for this website" AT LEAST ITS HONEST IN BEING A FAILURE

I don't like that I need 2 steps in the context menu to get to what my default engine is. I wish I could set a default engine to use and when I click on "Search by Image" option on the main context option it would use the default I set, but when you hover, the sub menu opens like now and you can choose another engine. I would love to drop the second step. It feels if I use this a thousand times a day and now it is 2000 because of second step. :-)
Brilliant Add-on, I love that we have an option of X reverse engines all in one 10 out of 10 for that. So sad about the old Google reverse image lookup no longer working. I am also using "Image Max URL" Add-on now and I can highly recommend this one also, wonderful for finding larger or better images of you image.Wotmołwa wuwiwarja
je so för 17 dagar sedan napisałI'm glad you like the extension! Extensions can only add a single top-level context menu item, but you could disable the rest of the search engines from the extension's options to search with your preferred engine from the context menu, without having to open a submenu. The drawback is that the "Open image" tool would no longer be accessible from the context menu and the browser toolbar.
If you have more than one engine enabled, and you would like to initiate a search with all of them from a top-level context menu item, you could also set the "Search all engines" option to "From context menu". That way the rest of the features would still remain accessible from the browser toolbar popup.
The legacy Google service is still available in the extension, now listed as Google Images (deprecated), but it only works for some users, you can enable it from the extension's options. People in the EU have had some luck restoring access to the service by using a Google account and following this guide: https://github.com/dessant/search-by-image/issues/309. - Z 5 z 5 pohódnoćenywot Wužiwar Firefox 19634657, för 22 dagar sedan

- Z 5 z 5 pohódnoćenywot Sunny, för 3 månader sedanIt works pretty well for searching for images on a webpage, however I kind of wish it worked a bit more like what is available on Google Chrome, where you can select an area of the webpage (kind of like screenshotting) to search on websites that have some sort of overlay on the images.

je so för 3 månader sedan napisałYou can select an area of the web page using the Capture search mode. The search mode can be set independently for the context menu and the browser toolbar from the extension's options.
You could also enable the "Use deep search when selecting images" option to continue searching with the Select URL or Select Image search modes. When enabled, the extension extracts all images from the clicked area, even if an overlay image was immediately found. If multiple images are found, you can select the one you need from a popup that lists the images along with their dimensions. - Z 5 z 5 pohódnoćenywot paulo_Brasil, för 3 månader sedanThis tool is incredible.
Not only for the Image Search itself, but mainly for the "Open Image" function.
The Open Image feature should be an extension of its own.
No exaggeration, it's probably the one I use the most daily, of all extensions or native features on Firefox!Wotmołwa wuwiwarja
je so för 3 månader sedan napisałHi, I'm happy you find the extension useful! You could also experiment with the options listed below to extract potentially larger versions of the image from the source code of the page. These options are not enabled by default because it takes a bit longer to download all variants of the selected image.
* Use deep search when selecting images
* Detect alternative image sizes - Z 5 z 5 pohódnoćenywot Wužiwar Firefox 19488466, för 4 månader sedan
