I spent hours fixing it only to find several days later it had done it again. I did some searching and found this is quite an old bug and seems to be has never really been resolved. After using Sidebery for about a year, I would say it is really quite helpful in my daily workflow. Standout features include clicking on the current tab to switch to the next–most recent tab, tab panels for better organization, and a huge list of settings to customize its look and behavior.
The one major flaw is that in every panel except my main one, the tabs occasionally get shifted to the last panel with their order reversed.
