This is great, the only change I want is when using Firefox's new group system (not container). It doesn't hide the grouped tabs when switching to another group from this mod.

This add-on is crazy good. I used it every single day until Firefox introduced tab groups themselves, so I'd rather use the native solution than an extension, but if Firefox's tab groups seem to not work properly after all I know where I'll be coming back to.

Contrary to other reviews, I never had STG delete my tabs or anything like that. They have a backup option in case this happens, but since this isn't clearly communicated, people seem to be confused about the random STG backup folders appearing, or because they dont know about the backups they do not see a way to recover their tabs. If I had to remark on anything, it would be that this could be more clearly communicated.

Other than that, I highly recommend this extension. It's one of the best ones Firefox has to offer.

Update (7 months): No other problems outside of initial days.

Day 3 and it wiped out all tabs (except one). Tabs on bookmark-backup gone, folders do remain. From restore backup, yesterdays backup didn't work (it showed that it would have the tabs, but nothing. 2 days ago backup did work.

Only automatic backup option is one-file-a-day (erases previous same day backup)

Update: seems like "yesterday"-backup worked after some other backup worked.

Tabs gone after Firefox close.
It happened right after all groups just deleted itself and all 100+ tabs were on main view.
BUT
I just noticed that this extension is making backups every day by default. Due to this, I was able to restore all of the lost tabs.

So am changing rating from 1/5 to 5/5.

That's literally what I need from such extension. Keep up the good work!

Works as it says, but it keeps downloading files automatically into folders similarly named "STG-backups-FF-137.0.1".
Why does it do this? How do I make it stop?

Please continue working on it. This add-on is much more convenient than the Chrome-inspired, brand-new built-in tab groups feature.

Very good extension, but it have a very big bug:
When you delete an group, all tabs from all groups are remove.

very ugly user interface, barely usable

Add-on suddenly stopped working, which was quite a disappointment.

Legit kept hiding my taps and I couldn't make groups show on the tab list

Please add an option to change the backup location

Works absolutely as expected, extremely useful to me, very happy with that extension.
Only one complaint: I want better control over the folder where backups are created! Because my Downloads folder is clogged with tens of STG folders of different versions...
