Declutter your browser by snoozing tabs and windows until you actually need them. Set a reminder for "tomorrow morning", "next Monday", "in an hour", or any custom time — the tab disappears and quietly comes back when you wanted it.
This is a fork of the original Snoozz by Rohan Bhansali, rebuilt for self-hosters:
CouchDB sync — point the extension at your own CouchDB / homelab instance and your snoozed tabs follow you across browsers and machines. Your data, your server, no third parties.
No telemetry, ever — the upstream's anonymous click-counting and uninstall ping are completely removed. The extension makes no outbound network calls except to the CouchDB instance you configure.
No data collection — declared explicitly via Firefox's data_collection_permissions: none.
Features inherited from upstream:
One-click snoozing of tabs, windows, or selected tabs
Recurring schedules (hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, weekday/weekend, "every browser startup")
Right-click menu and keyboard shortcuts for quick snoozing
Nap Room view to see, edit, pause, or wake up everything that's sleeping
Local-first storage via PouchDB — works fully offline; sync is opt-in
Light/dark/system themes, customizable morning/evening hours, configurable retention
Who this is for: Anyone running a CouchDB instance (or willing to spin one up) who wants tab-snoozing that syncs across devices without sending data to a vendor. If you don't run CouchDB, the extension works perfectly fine fully local — sync is purely optional.
