The sole purpose of this add-on is to provide users with convenient ways (keyboard shortcut, toolbar button, context menu) to duplicate the currently active browser tab.

This add-on needs minimal permissions to function:

tabs Permission:

What: Access to information about your browser tabs.

Why: This permission is required only to identify the currently active tab when you trigger the duplicate action (via shortcut, button, or menu). The add-on needs the active tab's ID to tell the browser which tab to duplicate.

What We DON'T Do: We do not access, read, store, or transmit your browsing history, the content of any web pages, URLs you visit, or any other personal information from your tabs. The add-on only interacts with the active tab ID at the moment you request duplication.

storage Permission:

What: Access to the browser's local storage area for the add-on.

Why: This is used only to save your preferred keyboard shortcut combination if you customize it on the add-on's Options page.

What We DON'T Do: This stored setting is kept locally on your computer and is never transmitted anywhere.

contextMenus Permission:

What: Ability to add items to the browser's context menu.

Why: This is used only to add the "Options" item to the right-click menu of the add-on's toolbar button, providing easy access to settings. It does not interact with any user data.

This add-on does not collect, store (beyond the local setting mentioned above), or transmit any personal information, browsing activity, or user data to us or any third party. All functionality operates entirely within your local browser.
