Your addon Tab Mix - Rename Tab causes a serious issue:
The title given by Firefox to a web page is NOT the real, true title of the web page!!!

    It didn't work at all before unticking 'Use bookmark name as tab title' from options (I don't know why that is, but FWIW none of the tabs I have renamed have been bookmarked). After that it's been working 100%. I'm assuming some/many of the 1 star reviews might be due to the same issue.

    Unfortunately it doesn't work at all. When I RC on the tab and select "Rename", enter the new name, when I try to click on DONE or CANCEL, the box just stays there.

    Just installed it and it solves my problem with persistence of tab name across reloads which is great!
    Though it doesn't provide shortcuts which is secondary, but brings a lot of comfort.

    This actually works, unlike the Tab retitle ext. But I do have to twice go to a tab and choose Rename Tab in order to get the dialog box to show up.

    Good to see any option from legacy Tab Mix Plus working.

    Note that I use The Patcher to enable Multiple Rows of Tabs in Firefox.

    When ever the star is blue the tab is names as I named the bookmark. great.

    Absolutely fantastic. I use this in combination with addiction blocker addons to kill the tab title notification feature on social media websites. Reloads across the domain and persists. Does everything it needs to.

    Breaks dynamic title updates. Constantly reverts title back to initial one on load.

    Unable to re-edit after renaming. Does not work for HTML loaded from local drive.

    Useful extension, but there are conflicts with turbolinks js library. Tab title is not updated correctly.

    If you remove the icon from the toolbar, the tab context menu doesn't work. It kept asking "rename this tab regardless to it's address" (should be "of it's"), every time, and doesn't remember previous selection as default. And then the next tab I tried to rename, clicking the 'Done' button doesn't make the rename dialog go away or do anything. Uninstalling.
