- Z 5 z 5 pohódnoćenywot Sup3r87, hace un añoAbsolutely goated bookmarking tool. Need to get to a site and fast without all the hoop jumping? just open the stash - no matter how many tabs you stash, it takes under 5 seconds to get to the desired site. The ability to organize things into folders and categories is just a godsend! My only qualm with it is that I had to spend a little bit of time figuring out how it works and how to treat it as a bookmarker - but that phase lasted only a couple hours and now it's golden :)

je so hace un año napisałAwesome, I'm glad it's working out well for you, and I'm happy you were able to figure it out without too much trouble. Thanks for the review! - Z 1 z 5 pohódnoćenywot Wužiwar Firefox 17027222, hace un año
- Z 1 z 5 pohódnoćenywot Machster, hace un añoThis extension needs detailed instructions on how to use this. I'm mystified how this works or helps. It has "suggestions" at the start such as "What would you like to save with the toolbar button?" or "What would you like to see when you click the toolbar button?" but doesn't give examples and doesn't explain what a "stash" is. Apparently this uses bookmarks but does it mess with my own bookmarks list? I hope not. What happens if there is more than one browser window open? What happens if the browser window is closed and reopened? What happens if the browser is closed and reopened?

je so hace un año napisałSorry to hear you had trouble figuring it out. Did you go through the screenshots at all? They give you an overview of Tab Stash's functionality.
Tab Stash saves its bookmarks (= stashed tabs) under a special "Tab Stash" folder in "Other Bookmarks". "Stashing" a tab means saving its URL as a bookmark and hiding the tab but keeping it open in the background. If you close the browser window, the tab is closed, but the URL can be revisited again by restoring it from your stash or opening it directly from your Firefox bookmarks.
Multiple browser windows are not a problem—they are treated separately. Each has its own list of Unstashed Tabs / Open Tabs. - Z 5 z 5 pohódnoćenywot Wužiwar Firefox 18194756, hace un añoAfter the Toby extension i used before to manage my myriad of tabs did 'a adobe' i came to find this beautiful extension. It does exactly what i need and for free! Lovely! and to epress my gratitude i send a beer (or Coffee or Tea) in the direction of the Dev.

- Z 2 z 5 pohódnoćenywot Shoes4Clues, hace un añoWhile the interface is great, the main reason I got this was to save memory. I'm not sure if this is a Firefox issue or an issue with the extension itself, but the tabs that are stashed still take up memory.
Wotmołwa wuwiwarja
je so hace un año napisałTab Stash will indeed save you memory, as it will automatically unload stashed tabs that haven't been used in a while. If you'd prefer that stashed tabs are closed completely when they are stashed, this can be changed in Tab Stash's options. Hope this helps! - Z 5 z 5 pohódnoćenywot xia, hace un año
- Z 2 z 5 pohódnoćenywot Spaceboy, hace un añoIsn't this extension meant to hide/close active tabs when you stash tabs??
Wotmołwa wuwiwarja
je so hace un año napisałYes...? That is indeed the point of Tab Stash. I have to admit I don't understand your review at all, but if you're having trouble, feel free to open an issue on GitHub and I'd be happy to help! - Z 5 z 5 pohódnoćenywot Raygan Kelly, hace un añoThis is a really clever and useful extension that combines tab management with bookmarks in a way that just makes sense. Huge thanks to the developer for creating and maintaining it!

je so hace un año napisałYou're quite welcome, and thanks for the review, I'm glad to hear you like it! - Z 2 z 5 pohódnoćenywot Faith, hace un añoI have tried multiple times to use this add-on because the promise of it is great. However, most recently, I just lost all my tabs to it by stashing them all, then searching for all the redundant tabs I had open of my email, and closing them. This turned out to delete all my tabs, not just the email, irrecoverably. If anyone knows a good tab manager which closes tabs and saves them and lets me delete whole groups of tabs without deleting everything, I would be very interested.
Also, you should keep in mind that the tabs here are not closed but simply hidden.Wotmołwa wuwiwarja
je so hace un año napisałSorry to hear that! It's possible this is an issue with your email provider and not Tab Stash. Like most other tab-saving add-ons, Tab Stash saves tabs by remembering their URLs. What you're describing might happen if your email provider doesn't assign unique URLs to each email.
One way to test this is to open a specific email message, bookmark the page, and close the tab. Then use the bookmark to open your email again. If your email provider doesn't show that same email message, then it's unlikely to work with Tab Stash or any other tab-saving add-on, I'm afraid.
If, however, you DO get back to the same email message, then it's a problem with Tab Stash and I'd love to get a bug report on GitHub, so I can troubleshoot with you further. - Z 5 z 5 pohódnoćenywot Wužiwar Firefox 17462675, hace un año

- Z 5 z 5 pohódnoćenywot Scott Kane, hace un añoThis is exactly what I needed. What a great extension. Does exactly what you want and gives lots of flexibility in how you want it to work. Highly recommend!
- Z 5 z 5 pohódnoćenywot Timofey Sherudilo, hace un añoA very good extension. I could at last drop OneTab. But it would be nice to have read-only groups, because the majority of my saved groups are reusable. And I always fear to press the wrong button (and remove group instead of opening it). 😊
Wotmołwa wuwiwarja
je so hace un año napisałThanks, I'm glad you like it! If you do press the wrong button by mistake, you can always get your group back from deleted items. So don't worry too much if you make a mistake, it's easily fixable. :) - Z 5 z 5 pohódnoćenywot Kiwi18, hace un año
- Z 3 z 5 pohódnoćenywot voskresenie, hace un añoIt seems as though I'm having an issue most others are not encountering, so I hesitate to give a poor rating, but after installing this add-on, I noticed my browser slowed down considerably. Extremely sluggish and frustrating, to the point of being unusable. I verified that this is due to the add-on by using Firefox's Process Manager. The 'Extensions' process hovers at 1-5% CPU usage when I have this extension disabled. When I enable it, it rises to between 50% and 100% CPU usage, and stays that way even 10 minutes after enabling it (which I did to ensure it wasn't just a start-up cost). It drops again within seconds of disabling the extension. I do have a large number of windows open, which may be part of the issue, and my goal was to reduce that number using this extension. However, I could barely get a single tab stashed in 10 minutes, so unfortunately, I'm not going to be able to use this to get to that point. I hope the developer is able to identify the source of the high CPU usage I've experienced, as it otherwise seems to be a very good extension. Will check back in a few months and try again.

je so hace un año napisałPlease open an issue on GitHub and I'd be happy to troubleshoot with you there. Thanks! - Z 5 z 5 pohódnoćenywot PyroTabby, hace un añoTakes the standard bookmarking system of old and improves upon it's usability in every regard I could imagine.
every use case I could think of with this plugin over traditional bookmarking is just more fluid and quicker:
selecting bookmarks to move is based on checkboxes rather than mouseclicks plus control/shift key.
moving bookmarks to a folder is as simple as clicking a button hovering near desired folder rather than needing to drag and drop, risking a misclick mistake.
If I stopped to open up a bookmark I don't recognize to check it out none of the checkboxes already selected disappear,
this addon also integrates into the old bookmark system rather than replacing it so import/backup and sync works perfectly fine and directly modifying the bookmark folder itself doesn't result in any detrimental effects from what I've observed.
After this addon had already impressed me, I thought to myself that the text of the folders/bookmarks seemed small and experimentally tried a classic ctrl+mousewheel and found that the madman had considered what I thought to be an edgecase was considered and supported.
Best addon I've ever seen after uBlock, very well thought out and executed refinement of bookmarking. so good that this should, in my opinion, be incorporated into official firefox browser releases.Wotmołwa wuwiwarja
je so hace un año napisałHigh praise indeed, thank you so much for sharing! I'm really happy to hear that a lot of the small touches have made things smoother and easier for you.
And you're right about modifying the bookmark folder itself—not only should there be no detrimental effects, it is fully-supported to move bookmarks around however you please using the tool of your choice. (Extensions that auto-move bookmarks do sometimes cause problems, but this is the exception, not the rule.)
