This extension breaks the right side of the big view screen on Twitter(X).

When a user clicks an image to view it bigger, twitter opens a panel on the right side that shows the post's text, comments and likes, saves etc.

With this extension enabled the whole thing glitches out and overlaps each other, the bookmarks icon is overlapped with the likes and everything is duplicated and out of place, I can't aim to click the like button correctly.

I had this issue for months and couldn't figure out what was causing this issue until today, thx god I finally resolved this.

And the bottom likes, retweets, etc also gets messed up and doesn't work.

The extension also provides a buggy unconfigurable download button to media, which downloads files automatically without asking the user first where to save them. And also makes duplicate corrupt files in the download manager

(If there was an option to configure than sorry, but if it wasn't obvious enough for me to figure out then it's probably not implemented correctly)

Plus this extension has not been maintained for over a year now. I would recommend you use something like "Media Harvest: X"

A very easy-to-use extension.

All you have to do is press the download button that appears on tweets.

Supports tweets with multiple files.

You can freely configure options such as renaming and save location.

However, the “renaming feature” hasn’t been working well recently.
I’ve set it to include the account ID in the filename, but it shows up as “unknown.”
Additionally (this isn’t critical, but still), sometimes multiple duplicate downloads occur at once, resulting in several copies of the same file appearing in the folder.
I’m not sure if this is due to Twitter’s specifications. I hope it gets improved.

anyone know alternatives? this has been abandoned and the videos are sometimes corrupted when downloaded

It's so good, sadly got abandoned and it's starting to break, like usernames not adding added to the filename.

It just does what it states: adds a download button (and option if you want to select download location or just save to 'downloads' folder)

Fix your extension, holy moly it's been three months already.

It was a very useful add-on, but it is currently not compatible with X's internal system updates.
As a result, as far as we can confirm at this time, there are problems such as the inability to assign user IDs to saved file names and multiple duplicate save phase windows.
We only wish for the future restoration of this very good add-on.

Worked great until the latest update. Now it doesn't add the user's name to the filename, and it creates a lot of dupes.

It is by far the best extension but lately things have gone wrong!
It doesn't retrieve the usernames anymore and put unknown prefix on the files instead, and most of the times queues 2 or even 3 or 4 of the files and makes duplicates!

Suddenly, readable file names don't work, every artist name changes to "unknown"

EDIT: Changing my rating because I've been forced to replace this and they still didn't fix it.

opens 4 popups per image and doesn't save user ID to filename anymore. before that was perfect, but now it's only slightly more convenient than simply right click saving and copy pasting the filename yourself...

Essential improvement of the Twitter experience. I like the seamless, no-fuss integration of a button into the interface.

GIFs in the media section will download anything instead of the gif...
