Essential to keeping your login information safe. It's easy to generate essentially impossible to brute force (with current technology) random passwords or pass-phrases that you don't need to remember and therefore can't be coerced from you - as long as you don't give up your master password. Out of hundreds of passwords for individual websites, I know exactly zero of them off the top of my head.

Syncs seamlessly between the desktop, browser extensions, and mobile apps. I strongly encourage using a strong password or easy to remember strong pass-phrase, and absolutely no sort of bio-metric unlocking at all. It's less convenient, but it's generally illegal (under most circumstances in the US) to be forced to reveal you master password, versus your device being put in front of your face or a fingerprint being lifted and used.

It's also open source software so anyone can view the code and ensure there's no shenanigans going on. Not as flashy as the other options out there, but once you get the gist of it, it's fantastic.
