I like uBO because you can set it and forget it, or you can dive pretty deep into the stack for fine tuning with its Dynamic Filtering mode. It's also one of the few extensions I can run across all the browsers on the different operating systems I use day to day. If you're a developer, this is the blocker to use.

On Android phones, this extension is nothing short of revolutionary. It's lightweight, can be run alongside other extensions (as opposed to on dedicated adblock browsers), the settings can be imported from your PC with some effort, it supports choosing specific elements to block (although a bit cumbersomely), and best of all: it actually works on Android.

Extension is awesome. Mozilla Foundation, on the other hand...Guys, we get that you want to promote Firefox {version}, but for the love of Bob, quit screwing with the links! I'm trying to install uBlock Origin inside Thunderbird, which used to work just fine...now all I get are "Only on Firefox - Get Firefox Now!" links which, do not, allow such an installation. And yes, I can download an older version of uBlock Origin through some trickery (and prayer), but the fact remains: you're causing trouble for the Thunderbird people! Stop it!
