Thank you kindly for the review and feedback here! There are a few things that might make your experience better though:
- The settings of the extension will reset if your Firefox is set to never remember history or clear the cache when you quit the browser, so you can adjust Firefox’s settings accordingly to allow 1Password X to retain its settings.
- The suggested passwords recipe is not changeable, but you can use the fully-fledged password generator in 1Password X instead of these suggested passwords. Simply open 1Password X on the top right corner of the browser, click the big PLUS icon to reveal the menu and select “Password Generator”. There you can fully control the passwords you generate.
- Autofilling credit cards and identities will always trigger a “confirm” prompt, that is a security measure we’ve added recently and has nothing to do with http or your local dev environment.
- You can disable 1Password X’s inline menu from showing up in fields if you’d like to. In 1Password X’s settings, under the “Autofill” section, you can disable the suggestions and inline menu.
- When you edit an item, it opens our web app. The edit button is in 1Password X’s popup, but the “Save” button is on the bottom of the tab that opens. Thanks for the feedback here, we’re hoping to improve this in the future!

- Csillagos értékelés: 1 / 5készítette: Firefox felhasználó 19200715, 7 napjaAs of 27-Jul it's broken - doesn't work with latest firefox at all. Was great, but now unusable.
- Csillagos értékelés: 1 / 5készítette: Firefox felhasználó 19193082, 9 napjaSame problem others have reported. It no longer works properly in Firefox. I figured out a work-around: If you click the 1-Password add-on and it doesn't work, then turn it off through Manage Extensions (no need to uninstall). Then close Firefox. Re-open Firefox, and turn the 1-Password add-on back on (through Manage Extensions). Then it will work fine until you restart Firefox again. Hopefully they will get this resolved soon...

- Csillagos értékelés: 1 / 5készítette: Firefox felhasználó 19080746, 16 napjaThis app is terrible. The support sucks and trying to get anyone to address my billing issues has been impossible. I signed up and could never get it to work. I signed up with a different email and somehow they linked the two and now they have locked the first one that we could never make work and so that locked the second one too, which we paid for. Now we are locked out. TERRIBLE SUPPORT. Don't use it way to complicated to make work and support.
- Adding to similar feedback from other users. Since a recent update, this extension no longer works in Firefox. I have tried removing and reinstalling the extension, etc. Nothing happens when you click on the extension, and no autofill of passwords on websites either. It is useless now (whereas it was almost perfect before) As this feature is an essential element of the membership we are paying for, this clearly needs to be fixed.
- Csillagos értékelés: 1 / 5készítette: Firefox felhasználó 14035943, 17 napja1Password Firefox extension was updated July 15, 2025. The 1Password Firefox extension now no longer works. Clicking on the 1Password icon in the Firefox toolbar does NOTHING.

- Csillagos értékelés: 1 / 5készítette: Firefox felhasználó 19116250, 25 napjaI cannot add a 1Password account to the extension if it has MFA enabled on it. When trying, the extension setup simply sends me to the 1 Password Web UI and does not store the account in the extension.
