Privacy Policy for Dump to Todoist

1. Data Collection and Usage

Dump to Todoist ("the Extension") facilitates the creation of tasks in your Todoist account based on your open browser tabs.

When you explicitly trigger the "Dump to Todoist" action by clicking the button in the popup, the Extension collects the following information from the tabs you have selected:
* Page Title
* Page URL

This data is strictly used to create a new task in your Todoist account via the official Todoist API.

2. Third-Party Data Transmission

To function, the Extension transmits the data listed above (Title and URL) to Todoist (Doist Inc.).
* Recipient: Doist Inc. (Creators of Todoist)
* Purpose: To create tasks as requested by you.
* Privacy Policy of Recipient: Please refer to Todoist's Privacy Policy for details on how they handle your data.

3. Data Storage

The Extension stores the following user settings locally on your device (using Firefox's storage.sync or storage.local):
* API Token: Your personal Todoist API token, used to authenticate with Todoist.
* Project configuration: Your preferred default project/section IDs.

The Extension does not collect, store, or transmit any other personal data, browsing history, or analytics to the developer or any other third parties.

4. User Consent

By setting your API token and clicking "Dump to Todoist", you consent to the transmission of the selected tab titles and URLs to Todoist for the purpose of task creation.
