Works, but breaks some websites, so far the one I've noticed as most affected is Google Translate where every single keystroke spikes CPU usage to 100% according to 'about:performance'.

Without the addon Google Translate performs well.

FINALLY this works with Firefox for Windows! I was able to autofill passwords as well as verification codes. That was primarily what was keeping me on MS Edge (well, that and the actually functional sidebar), so thank you.

Not compatible with firefox

I cannot find a way to turn off the incessant ask to autofill popup. There are certain sites I never want to save the password for. I could do it fine in Firefox passwords, just click Never save passwords for this site. Apple Passwords has no such option, I have spent an hour looking all over the web. I will not live with being asked to autofill my bank site password and having to make extra clicks to get rid of the popup offer when I never want to save it, it should be a one time thing, "don't ask again." How can apple overlook this? It's stupid.

Not compatible with firefox... 🤦🏾‍♂️

It is unable to even start, giving the message of "This addon is not compatible with Firefox", so why even use it when it's "not compatible with Firefox" when it's even uploaded to it's addon store.

Unusable due to:

- Constantly having to reauthenticate with Apple Passwords by typing in verification code.
- Auto fill drop-down is not visible behind default FF one.
- Can't save or update passwords.

Apple and Mozilla need to work together and solve this.

Only on reddit.com this extension causes the page to freeze up every time I open a new page. This is only on the firefox extension and it breaks the experience enough that im probably going to be switching my password manager altogether

Figuring out it works only under ShitOS (Windows 10 or later) did cost me an hour of troubleshooting (the extension window was just empty background). Add Linux/UNIX support.

Thank you Apple and Firefox for bringing this extension back to life! iCloud Passwords hadn’t worked on Firefox for several versions, and I had to switch to Safari. Today I randomly gave it another try—and it works! So happy to be back. Firefox, home sweet home!

Doesn't work

Displays an error saying “macOS Sonoma (14) or later is required,” but I’m running Sequoia (15.5). A recent update seems to have broken this - it used to work flawlessly.

How about you give a toggle to do passive mode only fill the password when I click the extension icon?
The way it scan the DOM, end up with performance really horrible
Edit: Turn off auto fill, it still traverses the whole dom and does its parsing, what's that option even for?

Doesn't work on Windows despite description claiming it will work if iCloud for Windows is installed and Passwords is enabled. This is not true, it's just not supported at all.

Stopped working after a recent macOS update. Had worked well up until this point. Currently running 15.4.1.

Edit: Recently tested on 15.5.0 and still no luck

Edit 2: Can confirm this is working now on the latest Tahoe 26 developer beta. Apple has now added the appropriate signatures to allow it to work with Zen Browser.

it sucks so bad. does not work on Zen browser. every time you close and open your browser, you have to authenticate again with a code from apple. there is no autofill, also no password generation

It just works perfectly. 0 Problems so far. Really glad i found it - basically using it daily (dev).
