We collect account credentials, preferences, and settings you provide, storing them securely in your browser. The extension communicates directly with journal websites for authentication (including automatic Dreamwidth API key generation). You maintain full control over your data and can export or delete it anytime. No analytics, tracking, or data sharing occurs. Broad site permissions are required to support the diverse ecosystem of journal websites and custom installations.
