It's not fixable as the required integration breaks the sandbox and so won't be allowed. If you have a browser installed on your host computer (i.e. native, not sandboxed) then there is no problem with this extension. But since Firefox is now ONLY supplied as Flatpak or Snaps on Ubuntu, this effectively locks out all Linux users from using KeepassXC.

But it has everything to do with the extension. It is designed in a way that is simply incompatible with the security model of a sandboxed browser. Nothing about the sandbox is "broken", the kind of code execution required by the extension and the server is what a sandbox is designed to prevent. This is exactly what a malicious extension would do to break out of the sandbox. The team should be working on this, or else users will just abandon the project. I'm certainly not going to try to convince Ubuntu that Snap is broken on your behalf, I'm just going to install something else that works.

- Currently completely broken with more restrictive privacy configurations due to a bug (#2672) that was reported over two months ago and patched over a month ago - and still not released.
I would have thought show stopping bugs would be worth a point release, but apparently not.Fejlesztői válasz

The bug you mentioned was not really high-priority, and not affecting many people so it didn't require a separate hotfix release. - Csillagos értékelés: 5 / 5készítette: ESM44, egy hónapja

It makes filling in passwords and logging into sites quick and secure, without having to copy and paste manually. The integration is smooth, easy to use, and keeps your credentials safe. Perfect for anyone who wants strong password management right in the browser.

közzétéve: 3 hónapjaThis happened because of better protections against clickjacking introduced in 1.9.9.3. The issue with e.g. Reddit is already fixed, and we are doing another release soon. Thanks :) - Csillagos értékelés: 5 / 5készítette: Firefox felhasználó 19145735, 4 hónapja

I love that I can use it on all my devices on 4 different systems (Windows 11, MacOS 15, Android 15 and Linux Mint 22)! On top of all its amazing features, it's free! Great developers! Thank you!
