I had Tab Groups extension installed which was not supported on new Firefox at that time and didn't want to make a move without that or similar extension. Simple Tab Groups are just what I needed. Allows to group tabs, to switch groups, doesn't load all tabs in group but only active one (saves RAM).
To all unsatisfied reviewers:
* Tabs loss is not due to this extension, this is an acknowledged Firefox bug. The extension author has shown it happens even without his extension. It is registered in Firefox bug tracker. The best you can do for now is to check that the extension is tracking your tabs (colored triangle on extension icon), back up tab groups before closing Firefox, and hope that either extension author finds a workaround, or this bug is fixed in Firefox itself.
* Adding moz:extension scheme to url is the way to avoid tabs reloading when switching groups. If you disable Fast Group Switching, you'll disable url mangling, but you'll notice that all tabs are loaded at once. This, again, is a limitation of Web Extensions API in new Firefox, which doesn't allow to hide a tab, only to close it. And when you switch groups, you'll need to reopen them. I've heard that tab hiding has finally been added to Web Extensions API. Let's hope it's true, and wait for new version of Firefox which supports tab hiding.
Sad to see undeserved bad ratings.

- Csillagos értékelés: 4 / 5készítette: monkeypee, egy hónapjai keep having issues with previous session not opening, and normally i can just click "restore previous session" and it returns all the tabs to the correct groups but i had a guy clean my pc today and he didn't restore session before closing and reopening again (which makes the option dissapear). which left me with "reopen all tabs" in recently closed, and not only did it not restore them all, they were not in groups after restoring. well, the extension only made the experience slightly worse but i needed somewhere to vent i guess lol. becareful out there if you cherish your tabs

- Csillagos értékelés: 2 / 5készítette: MartinThomas, 2 hónapjaI originally gave this 5 stars, but as time went by it got more and more erratic. Maybe because I had many tabs open?
More and more often, large numbers of tabs would vanish; sometimes several groups would lose most of their tabs. I could usually get most of them back from the backups, but the tabs I had added within the last day would not come back. - Csillagos értékelés: 4 / 5készítette: Firefox felhasználó 19193128, 2 hónapjaFantastic extension. Makes managing tabs and tab groups a breeze. A few issues:
1. The extension makes backups in my download folder, which is not great since I like to keep my downloads folder clean.
2. Does not yet play well with the new in-built tab grouping feature from Firefox. Hoping this will be resolved soon.
3. The black icon color blends in with my black window color, which makes it nearly impossible to see the button.
4. On first install, the existing tabs don't integrate with the extension and need to be manually moved in.
Those aside, It's such a great extension, easily one of my favourites. Thanks! - Csillagos értékelés: 4 / 5készítette: HonestReview, 2 hónapjaBest Tabs extension.
Would rate 5, but after the latest Firefox update, the tabs that are not in a group, are not visible at the extension, unless you add them to a group.
So, if you open a new ungrouped tab and close out of Firefox, it disappears, since it is hidden and it is not in a group.
Also, when you close out of Firefox, some tabs, sometimes gets ungrouped, and since you cannot see ungrouped tabs anymore, you got to find them from Firefox's drop down menu, since they are hidden.
