Everything runs locally inside the popup. The extension requests no permissions, makes no network requests, and collects no data. Your subtitle files never leave your device — it even works with your Wi-Fi off.

Under the hood: the conversion engine is plain, auditable JavaScript — open the popup source and read it yourself.
